Yesterday I took that dreaded chemistry exam I have been telling you about.. Ehh… I feel I did alright, I am anxiously awaiting my grade to be posted though. Chemistry is a great subject and very interesting if you are into that sort of thing. One thing I have discovered is that it is not my forte. I went in to this class thinking I was going to continue in the medical/chemistry career by becoming a Veterinarian, but have since learned that is not where I was destined to go.
One thing though, is that the class is interesting! I am not bashing chemistry or what it’s about, I’m simply saying that it’s not for me. But I guess knowing what you DON’T want to do is just about as important as knowing what you DO want to do, right?
After this chemistry class is over, which is only a few more weeks, I think I am going to try one more course, just to see if I can get the hang of it and get into
a better rhythm than I am now. I am studying my can off, and only have a measly 86 B in the class. (At least, that is prior to my exam grade being posted xD) … I am the type of person that, when goes for a grade, let’s call it an A.. Anything less than that is a failure.. So I find I am putting a lot of stress on myself and it just isn’t helping me to learn the material better.
I think the point of today’s blog is to communicate to everyone something along the lines of this: If you end up not liking a subject or finding out it’s not for you, that’s great in a way! You have eliminated a possible path from your list, and the path you are meant to be on is one step closer to being under your feet.
Until next time, it’s Steve signing out!
What is your favorite subject? Mine would have to be math. Or recess.. LOL. I’d like to know what your favorite subject is and why! Email me and who knows, maybe we can end up taking a class or two together!
